September Round Up
We’ve had a quiet September around here. I looked back through my pictures and I barely took any!
We’ve had a resurgence of allergies around here. Gus’s chin is messed up again and even Kat got in on the allergies. She has a big bald spot on her stomach, but we’ve gotten it under control so it’s not irritated anymore and hopefully her fur is growing back.
Gus has had a streak of being a bad counter surfer. I found him with the microwave plate cover and he stole his new leash off the counter as well (but left Kat’s up there — apparently he knows his color!)
Kat and Gus are both making the most of my continued working from home. They are experts at looking comfy.
Speaking of their new leashes, we decided to try something new. We usually buy the Ruffwear Knot-a-leash, but they don’t have purple or green anymore, so we bought Wilderdog rope leashes. So far we really like them and they are really reflective.
Kat had a checkup last week. She had lost some more weight, so the vet did x-rays to make sure there wasn’t anything serious going on. Her lungs and heart looked good. The vet also x-rayed her leg and didn’t see any signs of the tumor coming back. The only bad thing the vet saw was lots of arthritis, but we already knew we were dealing with that and are doing what we can to keep Kat feeling good. Considering she was wrestling Gus this morning, I think things are going well.
In human news, I went to Atlanta for a hearing. I had to decide which of my masks was the most professional. I decided to go with light pink camo. Good choice?
David has been working on his car. (GASP!! SHOCKING NEWS!)
He also used some wood scraps and made me a stand for door hangers. Now I can have things hanging by the front door, but not have to listen to them bang on the door on windy days like today.
So that’s what we’ve been up to in September. October should be more exciting, at least because we will celebrate Kat’s birthday!
