Staying Home

Staying Home

We are doing well in the midst of the Coronavirus stay home orders. This post is basically just random thoughts about what we’ve been doing.
I’m about to start my fourth week of working from home. I am fortunate to have a job where it really doesn’t matter where I am. At first, when I didn’t think this would last very long, I worked from my reading chair in the Lady Lounge (that’s what David calls my craft room). Things like this happened.

Now that it seems like I might be working from home for another month, I decided I need to get some structure back in my life and I moved to the office. I am also trying to get up at a good time and get my workout. Luckily Gus and I can stretch together.

Gus and I also made some banana bread with some over ripe bananas. Well, I made the banana bread and Gus prewashed the dishes before they went in the dishwasher.

One nice thing about working from home is that I have almost daily lunch FaceTimes with my nieces. That’s a nice break. We compare our lunches to see who has the best one. Lakyn had root beer the other day, so she won. Sometimes the pups and I take our lunch date outside.

Kasyn wrote a paper about Gus for one of her writing assignments. I thought it was cute, so I’m sharing it below. Otherwise I think that’s it! I hope you all are well.
