On to Alaska (actually Canada)...Victoria

On to Alaska (actually Canada)...Victoria

Our last stop on the cruise was Victoria, British Columbia. We didn’t do a formal excursion in Victoria and instead just got off the ship and explored the town on foot. We walk to the Parliament building. It was very pretty and the landscaping was gorgeous.

David wanted to finish his tradition of getting halibut and chips at every stop, so we went to Red Fish, Blue Fish. It is just an old shipping container turned into the a food stand. I ordered a vegetarian taco, fried pickles, and a root beer from a local company. It was all so delicious!

After that, we went to a currency exchange so I could get some Canadian money to give Kasyn and Lakyn and then we headed back to the ship. Victoria was a really pretty town.

We had a great time, but were happy to return home to Kat and Gus. First item on the agenda once we picked them up was they had to take a bath.

Once they were all clean and fluffy, they enjoyed the treats we brought home for them.

And that’s it! It took me 3 months to finish blogging about a 7 day cruise, but it’s over now and I’ll have to catch everyone up on other happenings around our house.
