Pool Progress Photos

Since our last post, the plumbing and gunnite has been installed on the pool. There are so many pipes! 

We wanted to put the equipment further away from the pool and the house, so it’s on the back side of the shop, meaning that the pipes had to run a long way. 

I wonder what all is going here! 

The hot tub seemed to take a lot of time. There was one day where all that got done was hot tub plumbing. (Gus of course had to inspect the work.) 

Finally all the plumbing was inspected and approved and gunnite went in. 

The next day there were a bunch of leaves in the pool (and a Kat)! I guess that’s what we have to look forward to. 

Now the pool builder has been coming over and hosing down the gunnite so that it doesn’t crack while it cools. That means there has been some water in the pool, which both pups have been taking advantage of. So far only Gus has been caught on camera though! 

This week hopefully some of the trenches will get filled back in. That will really disappoint Gus because he loves running around in the trenches and using them as obstacles during chase sessions with Kat. The tile work is going to start on Friday, so hopefully the pool will soon not be so ugly.
