Special K’s Visit - Day 3
On the third day of Special K’s visit, we hung around home in the morning. She tried to teach Gus a game.
When that didn’t work, she tried to get Gus to play his favorite game, chase, but she’s a little timid for Gus’s style of chase.
For the afternoon, we went to the bowling alley. Uncle Dave had to do inside activities due to his sunburn. Before we bowled, we did a lot of arcade playing.
We bowled two games and my game went dramatically downhill the second game. K’s did too because her ball got stuck in the gutter and had to be rescued!
After bowling, we played laser tag. It was my first time and K’s too. At first she was scared but eventually got really into it and we played a second game. She was fearless and she tried to tag the “blue people” with her laser!
Once we got home, we played Yahtzee and taught K how to play Uno and apparently Gus wanted to learn too.
K also gave some attention to Kat.
Gus demanded attention too.
Finally, after supper, K and I went to the pool.
If you look closely, you can see that you don’t need to wash the spaghetti off your face if you’re just going to go swimming!
