Snow! Finally!

The week before Spring Break, we finally got a lot of snow.  We were so excited.  Mom's classes were cancelled, so that meant that we had the entire day to play outside.  I woke Mom up at 6:00 AM to let her know that it was a snow day.  We all decided to go to the dog park in hopes that we would get there before any other dogs.  We totally did because we got there before the park's car gates opened.  We saw some people just walking into the park to play, so we found somewhere to leave the 4Runner and decided to head to the dog park.  On the way to the park, Mom put us on our long leashes so we could run while we hiked.  We took full advantage of the freedom.

We did some chasing.

By the time we got to the park, Mom was totally out of breath from walking all the snow.  I don't know why because she didn't travel nearly as much distance as we did.

The dog park was really fun.  We were the only pups there and the snow was fresh.  We ran and ran while Mom built a snowman.

After building the snowman, Mom was freezing, so we went home for a bit for her to thaw out.  Later in the afternoon we went on another walk to the UVA undergraduate campus.  The college kids had been having a lot of fun playing in the snow and I found this giant snowball.  I wonder who threw it?

Well, I wish that we would get more snow, but the weather is, according to Mom, very nice this week, so that's probably not going to happen.  Luckily we have good memories of this one!
