I talked about my Missouri grandparents being here a few weeks ago. While they were here, Mom bought some strawberries and my grandma made some short cake. Here's a picture of Mom's bowl.
Looks delicious, doesn't it? Not to be left out, I got some too. Here's my bowl
Notice anything missing? That's right, the shortcake! I am sure I would love shortcake. After all, I love cupcakes, as I demonstrated when I stole eight of them off the stove when Mom wasn't looking. (I'll fess up to that because Dad wasn't home, Kat was with Mom and Wilbur would have looked really fat if he had done it, so it was pretty obvious it was me.) Also, I may or may not have been involved in the frosting incident of 2007.
So I'm not sure what I should have done. Should I have complained and risked not getting anything or just politely taken my bowl without the shortcake? What do you pups think?
Steve
PS. For the record, I didn't complain and I waited patiently to eat my strawberries and cool whip.
