I hope all of you puppies are enjoying Independence Day. We are having a great day since Mom and Dad don't have to go to work. First, Mom took us for a walk this morning. Then we went to Lowe's with Dad. It was really fun because we got to stick our heads out the window of the car.
Mom made us some bandanas so we could be festive today. Here's a picture of us with Mom.
Last night, Mom and Dad took us to a July 4th festival. We wore our bandanas and tried to look extra cute. It worked too because everyone was stopping Mom and Dad and asking if they could pet us. We were really good and didn't jump on anybody. Mom said that they should have set up a "Petting Booth" for us. Like a kissing booth only people would pay $1 to pet us. She said we could have made enough money to pay for college! I think she was just joking. Anyway, after we walked around the festival for a while, we went back to the car before the fireworks started. Dad drove us a couple miles down the road and then we got out of the car and sat by the lake. Mom and Dad watched fireworks and Steve and I watched the ducks. I know some puppies are afraid of fireworks, but where we were, we couldn't hear them booming, so I barely noticed them. I kept hearing ducks splashing and I just wanted to chase them, but I was good and just sat by Mom.
I don't know what we are going to do today. It's already been raining and it's supposed to rain more this afternoon and evening, so we might have already had our fun. Anyway, I'm going to go take a nap because I'm tired after my fun filled morning!
